Social media marketing has developed significantly over the course of the past few years. With that being said, more and more people want to become the influencers since it seems to be an easy job, especially for people who are still not sure what they want to do as their career. But who are the social medial influencers?

Briefly, social media influencers are people who have significant impact on their audience. They are someone who is able to influence the people and to a degree impact their decision whether it’s buying a product or a service, visiting the place or getting food at a certain restaurant.

In a long run, influencers are a great support for a business, especially if it is a brand-new business and they are trying to build their customer base and attract new audience. Influencers can also be brand ambassadors for the developing brands and help the business owners promote their products or services. This will help the “new” businesses to build longevity and stay competitive on the market.

Overall, I feel like the influencers are not given as much credit as they deserve. This is a great way to start off the business. Although it will require a monetary investment at the beginning and does not necessarily guarantee success in a long run. My friend who just launched an online boutique created an Instagram account and hired an influencer Alyssa McKay to promote her store. This has caused her monthly income to increase by 25% after only two months of collaboration. This is just one example of how influencers can drive business and assure its success in a long run.
